The vanadium foil is quite flexible, but at the same time it
must be deformed under conditions of increased heating, otherwise the
formation of cracks is possible.
Where is hafnium foil used?
It is used mainly for the needs of nuclear energy, as well as in
radiation protection equipment. Hafnium very well captures even the
smallest particles, such as neutrons, so it is indispensable in physical
laboratories where experiments with radioactive metals are carried out.
It is also widely used in metallurgy, and foil and strips can be used
for precise dosing.
These materials can be used to obtain compounds of this metal for
further use in the glass or chemical industry. Also, vanadium foil serve
as an additive for the production of high-strength and fine-grained
aluminum alloy capable of withstanding very high loads.
To create all products, hafnium brand GFI2 is used, which is approved by
the standards of GOST for forming sheets, rods and foil.
